I took John's TC out to my dentist appointment this morning to put some miles on it. I got pulled over!! I am the SLOWEST driver on the road and haven't been pulled over in 3 YEARS! I was literally idling down the road in 2nd gear right in front of my college and a bike cop pulls out and pulls me over. Says he has me pegged at 32 in a 20 School Zone, double violation. I tell him no way, the speedo was only indicating 20 and I was idling. He says I could be in for worse since it has a busted windshield, busted taillights, exhaust, etc, etc, etc. Total power trip. WTF!?!?!?!! I drive that road EVERY DAY at 20 or less and ALWAYS follow the speed limit, that's WHY I go to the track every week! I honestly believe he was car profiling, period. He saw a primered TC with mold on it that was fairly loud (still in legal db limit) and went for the juggular. The car JUST passed state inspection, so he had no grounds on the windshield and taillights (right tail has a 1" crack in it, windshield has a star-hit on the drivers side). What is his problem?? I think I'm going to fight it. I haven't fought a ticket since I was 17 but this 100% BS!!!

The fact that you haven't had to fight a ticket since you were 17 is goo.It may help in court (or just talking to the judge).How old are you?That can make a difference as well.I'd go to the judge about it,no doubt.What have you got to lose?

23, retired military, full-time student, business owner. I haven't had a ticket in over 3 years or even been pulled over. I honestly think he was car profiling. I see the same cop there all the time in my truck and I've NEVER even been looked at!

By the way,fight the ticket.

3 fractured vertebrae in my neck from a training accident. No hard feelings, $#!t happens. USCG immediately gave me 30% and an honorable so I was happy (I was planning to be a lifer). VA is still re-rating me, I'm hoping for 50%.

I WILL be fighting the ticket.

They retired me at exactly 3 years too. I only had a year left on my initial. I still got to be at 3 units and go overseas twice :D
