exhaust Reply #1 – May 15, 2007, 08:00:04 AM As I recall from the days when I had my own Grand Marquis, I believe a Mustang H-pipe will work with stock (mustang) or aftermarket headers. Not sure what you can do as far as tailpipes and flowtubes go. Quote Selected
exhaust Reply #2 – May 15, 2007, 09:56:22 AM I think you misread, I think he wants to use the H pipe off the GM on his Bird. Id personally try to keep the GM as nice as possible, I dont think you see those with police packages often. Quote Selected
exhaust Reply #3 – May 15, 2007, 10:33:57 AM the gm runs good but looks like hell. pop hit the house a few times with it plus its a nj car and has a good bit of rust. the cars been in the back yard for two years. parked it when we got the turbo. plus for the last couple of months i've been robing parts off it. to fix it up i;d have 5 times what its worth in it. but parting it i can keep 3 cars going i figured pops car can live on that way. really clean low mile gm/cv go for $1200 around here this one is worth $400 max w/ cold a/c. i know its a shame but the body is so beat hence the name battlecruiser. i haven't parted it out too bad though a couple hundred bucks and its roadworthy again. i just can't bring my self to sell it though. it has 11" rear drums 11" disc, oil, aux trans and p/s coolers dual ex. and 5k lb towing capacity with 3.55 posi rear 8.8 Quote Selected
exhaust Reply #4 – May 15, 2007, 10:40:31 AM also thinking about putting the 5.0 w/ f.i. in my truck then i'll also have the heaver truck block w/steel crank to build. and maybe get some fuel mileage out of the old f-150 which now has a 302 w/ 500 cfm holley 2 bbl with homemade tv linkage made out of a holley choke cable bracket that works real well.
