Throttle body blocked March 18, 2007, 09:54:47 AM It seems that the fuel is being blocked up in my throttle body somehow and it keeps the car from starting after driving it. The fuel return line iis bone dry. Whenever the car won't start, I can remove the fuel supply line and let it dump gas into the port and it cranks right up. If I bleed the fuel pressure nipple it'll start up normally. Any hints?????? Quote Selected
Throttle body blocked Reply #1 – March 18, 2007, 10:07:13 AM have you changed your fuel pressure regulator? Quote Selected
Throttle body blocked Reply #3 – March 18, 2007, 02:32:00 PM Try taking the gas cap off when it wont start. See if there is a vacuum in the tank.Get yourself a fuel pressure gauge and see if you have 39 psi of pressure and that the pressure holds after the engine is shut off. Quote Selected
Throttle body blocked Reply #4 – March 19, 2007, 11:55:57 AM I will keep that in mind (taking the gas cap off). It cut out on me twice yesterday after running fine. I had to let out all of the fuel pressure in the CFI and let some fuel dump into the port before she would start. I have another CFI on the way but would love to keep tinkering with it and get it cleaned up. Quote Selected
