difference in models January 02, 2007, 04:43:13 AM ok who can tell me the differences between an 87 base model and an 87 tbird elan? Quote Selected
difference in models Reply #1 – January 02, 2007, 09:04:31 AM The elan part is easy - they don't exist. :D The LX replaced the elan version in 87Basically the LX is a higher-optioned version of the base model. It has more sound deadening, thicker carpet, nicer interior cloths, and perhaps the high-level door panels. Mechanically the cars are the same Quote Selected

difference in models Reply #3 – January 03, 2007, 01:22:57 PM ok I talked to the guy with the car and he said it has 2 headlights which means its an 87-88 and he also said it says elan on the car. so appearently someone added the badges at some point Im guessing. I also found out it has the TC seats and door panels with a slight difference instead of cloth at the top of the door panel its leather. As well as it has the full digital dash in it. Im not sure as to what other differences there are in it without seeing it. Quote Selected
