New booster on the 83.

Well new to the 83.  The 88 donated its first part today.  I sanded it down and painted it silver.. Only because I found out the hardway I had no black paint and ask Zach how long it takes me to simply drive into town and buy a can of paint!

It looks really nice painted silver though..  I am almost ashamed to post this picture of my engine bay.  When shined up it looks really nice.

Looks good

How soft is the pedal? I've driven a couple of these cars with 10" front disks and 10"rear drums (mine included) and they all seem to have "mushy" break pedals. Not that they won't stop but they don't feel as firm as newer cars. Since the 88 had 11" fronts and rear disks you might just be use to the better stoping power. With the factory 10" fronts and 9" rear drums it must feel pretty scary at times.
