A real Cougabird

I spotted this early today and thought you guys might like...

First time I've seen someone put a 4eye Bird nose on an '87-88 Cougar

That is a well-optioned Cougar, too.
Odd.

Not painted to match, so probably crunched the nose in, and that's all the wrecking yard had.
Death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

i thought about swappin a 4eyed nose on my car once. that moulding mis-match really kills the idea of an easy swap.

That's what I'm thinking. Cougars have been extremely difficult to find in yards around here lately. I did see an 85-86 light blue T-bird in a yard just over the line in PA which was missing the nose. I'm thinking this is it.

Nah, they did a bad job lining it up. I saw it about 5 miles from my house. Cecil County.

Does anyone else think that looks decent? I mean aside from the moulding difference I think it looks good. It of course would be better if they would work on the grille to get rid of the t-bird emblem. I'm sure they just wanted to get it on the road though.

graft a normal 87-88 cougar or tbird bumper cover on it then we would be talking.

yeah i really like it, obviously if it were better executed itd be that much nicer but that works for me. i really do like the four eye design better than the 87/88 one.
