1986 Cougar XR-7

I bought this Cougar about 9 months ago. It is complety stock except for the head(plus accessories), clutch, and water pump. I got it because it was in great shape mechanically and physically. About 5 days before the car was to be picked up, from Arizona where the car has been most its life, a vehicle hit the rear of it and left. The damage is not as bad as it looks in the picture, it is very fixable, and I can even get a section of panel to replace the bad section. My wife has driven the car only short distances and has not been able to drive it large distances yet, but I'm very confident that it could easily make it cross country w/ nothing more then fill up's. Before the car is delivered it will have a oil, rear, and trans fluids will changed with [COLOR="DarkOrchid"]royal purple[/COLOR]. Delivery is available on this car. I will deliver to most lower states, I live at Ft.Polk, Louisiana, just ask me about it and I will tell you if it is within my range. I will of course charge you a fee, the cost of the diesel(my 01 F250 gets 10mpg towing my trailer), I will only charge exact cost, not a penny more. If you pick it up, I will have a place for you to stay the night if that is what you need to be able to come and get it. Basically I'm looking for someone that will fix this car and not part it. I really need the parts for my other XR-7's but there is no way I'm going too part it I love them to much, this one is easily fixable! I would like to get $1,500 for it, but I am open to offers and trades!

-65,000 miles
-Maroon exterior, Tan interior

NEW
-New(not rebuilt) head, cam, lifters, ect, approx. 500 miles
-Newer clutch, very tight, approx. 3,000 miles
-New alt, and battery (Optina)

BAD
-Smal dent/s in rear passenger quarter panel
-Fading paint, bumpers/hood black in color, clear coat pealing on roof/sides of car
-A/C doesn't work, needs recharge
-Seats have small stains, 2 small burn holes
-Tires need replacement, still drivable/ for a little extra money I will throw in a new set.
-Cluch cable need to be replaced, just streched, still easly drivable

The car is sitting out front of the house so I will post pics tomarrow due to lack of light.

to bad you have to sell.This is off the subject but whats the word on the other cougars- have any pics?- that one to the left of the red xr-7 looks nice!
