Cam Timing Reply #1 – November 14, 2006, 11:26:36 AM Here's a general rule of thumb, advancing moves your power band down some rpm and let's it come on sooner, retarding it brings it on later and will usually net you a peak HP gain, albeit on the high end. With stock internals and street gears I'd leave it straight up. Quote Selected
