Is is possable to convert out cars from a pedel E brake to the Pull handle kinds like in the fox Stang's? I'm sure this has been asked before but it just kinda came to me as I was standing around work today because I had to train a new co-worker how to bus tables. How much work would be involved and would it be worth that effort in the long run?

Mike, anything can be done if your willing to put the time and thought into doing it.  I know you would need to relocate or even replace your e-brake cable and mount the handle.

Well, I'm looking at an 86 LX stang down the street from me rotting away. I can take everything I *need* from that car. The question is how much tinkering around will I have to do to get it to work. Has anyone else tried this or even thought about it?

This has already been discussed in another thread. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Thanks. I didn't think search was working and found it faster to just ask

Can't be nearly as much fabrication as a 5 speed swap.  My guess is the hardest part would be figuring out where to cut into the tunnel to install the handle.

That, and what to do about a console.
It's Gumby's fault.

Nate tried the Fox Stang (87-93) console idea and he said it didn't look right so I think he's going to try the SC next. I may just delete it altogether.
