460 Stamped steel 1.7 rockers?

I just saw in MM&FF that someone used 1.7 ratio rockers on their 85 302 with E7's. Is that a bolt on deal or is there some machining to be done? I'm wondering if the rockers are heavier than 302 rockers maybe necessitating better springs. If one of you guys could clear this up it may be a cheap hop up for my SO 5.0 motor (until I make the HO cam swap). I already have the HO heads. Thanks

You could probably pick up a set of true roller rockers in 1.7 ratio brand new for $250. Not worth upgrading if you're gonna go with stamped steel in a higher ratio IMHO.
