I wouldn't call AL heads "bling" ;)

I saw the title of this post in the list and then looked over and saw the Chuck had the last post and I was thinking, "Oh God some kid got spinner hub caps and Chuck is ripping him a new one."

But glad to see that you were talking about my personal definition of the word "bling."  :D

Chuck would've just said "Meh." 

Are you going fuel injected?  If so what intake setup are you goin with to get those valve covers to fit?

motor is a carb'd 393.

i found out later that the heads need some work. 6 bent valves needed to be replaced. so i had those valves replaced, along with a 3 angle valve job, milled the o-rings off, and cc the combustion chambers. they are at 58cc now. which will bring the motor to about 12:1 compression. the springs were weak, and need to be replaced also. ill get to that when i decide what type of cam im gonna run.
