now thats depressing

i work at a local gas station pumping gas(when the other pumpers not there) and doing some things on cars the other half day. well today i heard the bell/chime thing that goes off when a car pulls up. i look out to see a flatbed tow truck with a cougar on the back. and my heart sank:flame: , it took a pretty good front and hit, good enough the was no front facia at all, and a good posibility of a bent frame. i asked the truck driver what year is it, and he said 80. which im 100% sure that the car was a 87-88. i assume the last 8 in 88 looked like a 0. (maybe bad handwritting):hick: . it was a ls with a 302 and column shift. my car was parked right near it, and i just looked back and forth between the cars to really comprehend the destruction. but it wouldnt be so back if i see alot of these, so now i've seen one fox cougar(besides mine) on the road, and another really messed up one a flat bed:mad: . i was thinking about trying to buy it for parts, but i really dont need any parts for my car. i might buy it to just resell it for parts, but idk. the rear of the car didnt look bad, maybe i will buy it to sell for parts. anyone in MD need any 87-88 coug stuff if i do decide to get it? i'm not even sure if its for sale, but i would assume the would junk it.

I'd buy it. You can part it out and easyly make it back plus some on EBAY.

If you buy & part it, you'll have better luck selling parts on here than on ebay.  I sold the cluster from an '84 TC and it only went for $15.

Sell the firebird. It's worth it for the money. Give the car to a freind, sell/part out the car then get the firebird back if you realy want it.

ive been meaning to fix it, but between work, and all that i havent had the time, and the only motivation to fix it would be to get it out of here, i really dont want it. idk how much i would get for a car that knocks pretty bad, and its a 2.8 liter! that way to small for a car that the fast model had a 5.7. if my math is right, thats less then half. can anybody guess what a 1987 firebird 2.8 liter that knocks, with t-tops, torn up drivers seat, and damage to the left front fender would go for?its a real piece o poopy. and i cant burden a friend with this, i wouldnt want my enemies to have it,well maybe an enemy, but if anyone wants it u can message me, it might be a good project car.

well, whouldnt ya know, all this talk about my firebird finally got me of me arse, and i worked on it some today. not alot, because we're doing work to the house, which is a lil' more important then the firebid, but i managed enough time to drain and remove the radiator, fan, all the plastic intake stuff, and started to remove altinator, so untill next non-work day (sunday), this is how she'll sit.
