changing the antenna on my 87 July 16, 2006, 05:53:09 PM hey i was thinkin about removing the regular antenna thats up in the fron of the car and putting a retractable one on the rear side of the trunk in the back .... does any1 kno if there is a certian one that would fit or it dont matter and i just gotta rig up a switch to control it .... let me kno it would help alot ....thank Eddie Quote Selected

If I remember, he bought a universal power antenna from a parts store and mounted it to the side support inside the trunk. I'm not sure how he wired the antenna itself. He may have lead a wire back from the antenna wire on the aftermarket head unit. Quote Selected
