Aerodynamic info? July 12, 2006, 09:23:40 AM So, has anyone ever come across ACTUAL aerodynamic information for these cars. I'm talking about more than just drag coefficients. Any wind-tunnel info and such? Quote Selected

Aerodynamic info? Reply #2 – July 12, 2006, 11:38:18 AM Just general flow info. Low/high pressure areas, etc. I know generalities, but was curious on specifics to this chassis. Quote Selected
Aerodynamic info? Reply #3 – July 12, 2006, 11:43:19 AM There was a dude that modeled a 1983-86 Cougar for the GT2 video game a few years ago. He may have figured that stuff out, since I believe he told me that frontal area dimensions were the criteria needed for input about the car model. Come to think of it, he hasn't been around here forever. I'll try to get in touch with him. Quote Selected
Aerodynamic info? Reply #4 – July 12, 2006, 12:16:25 PM I think Chuck is weighing the pros and cons of putting an aluminum wing on his car. Maybe a super-long airdam up front. Quote Selected

Aerodynamic info? Reply #6 – July 13, 2006, 01:00:17 PM id be interested in any of that info too. along with some 4 corner weights of stock vs. my comparison... just gotta find a spot to weigh up at. what kinda information were you looking for with the wind tunnle testing? maybe somebody hear has, or knows someone with access to equiptment like that. or maybe something similar? Aerodynamic info? Reply #7 – July 13, 2006, 01:12:52 PM I was just curious about various low and high pressure areas around the body.I have an idea for something on a hood and was looking at possible locations for heat extractors, but I have an idea for something else that can most likely be used to draw it out another way.
