Spark plug gapping! Need help!

Does anyone know the proper gap size for the Autolite #764 plugs I believe they are?  This is for the 2.3 TC motor.  I can't remember if they're pre-gapped or not!

Set the plugs for the turbo 2.3 at .028-.032... They are likely pre-gapped at .048-.052..

In my personal experience they're never gapped to what you need them to be, so always double check. In the future if you need to know the gap check http://www.autolite.com/carcare/techSpecs.php they have the books like at wal mart and such in PDF format that you can save and retain for future use.
I believe it had cars and trucks dating way back to the 50's all the way up til present that you could check on.
Just a bit of usefull information not everyone thinks about.

It depends on your pasrticular engine and how strong your spark is.  Make them as wide as you can with out the car missing under higher boost.

Most of the TFI cars with stock parts don't like more than .035" gap.  On my 2.3T Ranger that I was running on a DIS coil pack, I was running up to .045" gap at 15-16# boost due to the hotter spark of the DIS set-up.

For you start at the high side of the recommended gap.  If the car starts to miss out under boost, tighten them up a bit until it goes away.  This is assuming however that there is not something else wrong causing the miss.
