I bought a house!

And it came with a 2.5 car garage too! ;) All that's left is the housing inspector. The house was built in 1996, so I doubt that there will be any problems. We close on the 25th and move in on the 28th! I'm SOOO happy about finally having all my stuff at 1 location, and actually living close to a race track again. There's a seperate attic above the garage and a huge shed next to the garage to store parts and even a gravel spot in front of the shed and behind the privacy fence to hide a parts car! :D;) My driveway has room for another 6 cars, and there's gravel parking next to it for another 4. Oh yeah, it's a 3-bedroom, 2 full bath, with Beachwood floors/doors/trim, and a nice little back deck. It's in a great neighborhood outside the city limits in a quite area. The only downside is I'll be broke for awhile and I have to move all my !!

Congrats :D The house I bought in March was built in 1905 or so - hope yours doesn't need the work this one has had done (new electric, plumbing, drywall, floors, roof, etc) - the upside is that for the first time in my life I have a garage :D and over three acres with two rivers coming together on the property

...and maybe, just maybe, it's close to a drag strip too. I drove by an old drag strip the other day (Maitland Dragway) about 15 miles from here and there was heavy equipment in there fixing it up :banana: Hopefully I'll have a place to test my soon-to-be-heavily-modified T-Bird

Sure is. The longtime g/f and I bought it together. We'll get married someday. (I need the $$$ for more cars :lol:)

congratulations, just remember as i think jay leno said.... its cheaper to collect cars than women..... tell your g/f that and she outta understand and be happy with you collectin cars :-p lol

there is a previous post where we were all telling him to marry her, as she hasn't left yet over cars.. she is a keeper, as well as the house it sounds. congrats.
