87 bird questions

I found an 87 t-bird for sale but I have a few questions about it.  the car has power everything except for keyless entry and passenger seat and it has a floor shifter and a digital dash with a 5.0.  would this make it a sport?  I forgot to look at the vin number :bricks1: the car has 130,000 miles and they are asking $1,000 obo.  the body is in kinda rough shape but isnt too bad.  are they asking too much?

You'd have to drive it to see if it's really worth it. You know the basics, how the engine runs/idles, how well or poorly the transmission shifts.
Also depends on how rough the body is and how much any repairs will cost you.

To give you something to go on, I picked up my car with every option available minus the argent wheels and engine block heater for $900 with 172,000 miles. The motor dripped a little oil (but what ford doesn't) but it didn't need anything to pass inspection. The body had minimal rust on it and no other damage.

went by and looked at the vin number and turns out it is a sport with a digital cluster.  I think I have a good find on my hands :D
