You have to relocate the tensioner with the TrickFlow or March kits. The FRPP kit relocates the power steering pump upward to where the AC compressor was allowing the tensioner to be left in the stock location. Those are the only 2 options that I know of. I got the March kit because I didnt want to move the power steering pump.

I used the FRPP kit.  Be aware when you used the FRPP kit you must use a power steering bracket from a Mustang.  The CougarBird ones won't work.

Interesting... I hope the T-Bird bracket works with my March kit. I guess I'll find out soon enough. The reasons I got the March/TFS style over the FRPP were because I was worried about possibly having a hose length issue with the FRPP and that I wanted to leave my FUGLY power steering pump down low. I do like how the FRPP kit reclocks the pump so that the filler neck is more straight up. Much better for corner burnin!

Well you were right I should of got the FRPP my intent was to put the power steering pump were the A/C is but that was not happening with the trick flow one (the brighter side is the pump is lower and so is the center of gravity.
Now my headache the directions state to replace one of the water pump bolt because the double thread is in the way so I buy another 4” bolt from the local hardware store (did not realize that if you look at both bolt the new 4” bolt is longer by about less then an 1/8th because both 5/16 bolt are 4”inchs going into the water pump the OE one with 5/8 head is flatter so it bottomed out and snapped.:shoothead : So now I had to dig it out by taking off the timing case cover and while any normal person would do, might as well change the chain gaskets water pump ect.. AND if I’m going in this far might as well put in the cam shaft I ordered a few months ago thanks to you guys help.  http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?p=54854#post54854
So I was on it all that night not exactly done yet have to go to work and tomorrow I have my 2nd job maybe ill have time the next day or two to finish it

Moral of the story when putting on the trick/flow or march A/C eliminator kit and have to change the water pump bolt add some washers to it. So that your 2 hour project don’t turn into a 16 hour project.

OK All done now finally, what a headache not bad for my first cam shaft done all by myself. Pretty much finished it the afternoon before my wife went into labor “Thankgod”.  http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=8165 . So after I came home I’m waiting around one after noon, baby sleeping me and the wife are just sitting there and I’m telling her “man I wish the car was done so I could take it to the store if we need something. So she tells me what dose it need. I tell her about ½ hour just gotta time it and put the fan back in (the clutch fan didn’t want to bother w/ the wiring of the electric fan right now).
Anyway back to the point the car sounds great it’s a trick flow stage1 cam and it makes the car sound nice. I’m very satisfied. The only 2 problems right now are 1-drivers/side of the motor had a tapping in the valve cover I m guessing maybe a rocker has to be retightened. And problem #2 is small just a lot of cleaning up under the hood after deleting the a/c & smog pump.
