idle problem? transmission April 23, 2006, 12:15:20 PM hii have a 1995 cougar v8 90000 miles odometer. very good tech shape and no pb until few weeks i have to ignite my engine 2 or 3 times before the engine starts and then the idle is around 500 . i do not have a power pb, the chek engine light is not on, but as i am in florida the a/c is on most of the time and when i stop at red light as the idle is too low it seems that there is not enough electrical power and the a/c doesn't stop to be on and off and the electical gauge moves from ok to low. this pb stops when i push the gas pedal and when i drive. is anyone could help me with this?second pb my transmission is good but between 40 and 45 mph it seems that it doesn't know when to overdrive and this is kind of shaking until the gear is on 4 at 45 mph.any help?thank you very much for your answershave a good onexavier Quote Selected
