Anyone watch Motor Week?

Talk about strange, I just bought all the 83-97 TBird/Cougar shows from Motor week and picked them up from the Owings Mills studio last week.  Then today, I take a leisurely drive through my old neighborhood where I grew up just to see how it looks.  (It has been almost 10 years since my folks moved out of that neighborhood.)

I see John Davis, the host of Motorweek taking an evening stroll with his wife!

He lives in the newer homes that were later built forming an extension of my neighborhood.  Those homes are much, much nicer than the group I grew up in but nonetheless, there he was.  I had to get out and say a few words.

The newer part is a small number of homes surrounding the old farmhouse where the original landowner still lives.  I've known him for years and used to work for him and his son doing farmwork and paving.  Apparently, John Davis knows him too from his evening walks.  I guess they talk every now and then in the evenings because when I told John Davis that I used to farm the land where his home was built, he knew I must have worked for Bob, the landowner.

#218: 83 Thunderbird
#312: combination of the 84 Thunderbird Turbo and the Mercury Cougar
#606: 87 Thunderbird
#801: combined test with the 89 Thunderbird and Cougar
#834: 89 Thunderbird SC
#1004: 91 Thunderbird and Cougar XR7
#1302: 94 Thunderbird and Cougar XR7
#1613: 97 Thunderbird

Keep in mind all you Cougar Nuts, these shows mainly talk about the TBird with occasional mention of the Cougar.  Us Cougar guys should be used to that by now though.  Some of the MN-12 shows have a lot of Cougar shots and verbiage but there is hardly any mention of the Cougar or barely any shots of the Cougar for the Fox shows.

That's cool Karl.
I saw they are supposed to be putting up a Goss' garage along 40. I've seen the sign over the past year or so but none of the land looks any different as of yet.
