What if...... February 22, 2006, 06:53:45 PM What if SVO had built a XR7 cougar?I've lost my mind but here is the plan for the cougar. I'm going to build it into my impression of a SVO XR7.87/88 T-bird turbo hood.T-bird intercooler in stock location.LA3 big vam.Ranger roller.255 pump.T3.SVO strut bar.3inch exhaust split to dual's with 's and stock appearing tailpipe's to keep the noise down.subframe'sSVO 5 lug brake's with adjustable proportioning valve.5spd swap, direct pull bellhousing, hurst shifter SVO style shift and boot.Lincoln 16inch 5 lug mesh wheel's.I own a decal business/cutter so I'll make some custom XR7/Turbocharged/intercooled deck lid decal's. What ya think?Any of you photoshop guy's want to add a 87/88 turbo hood and mesh wheel's to a pic of the car?http://www.st-tel.net/~mhisstc/85XR7/front.jpgWith the same mod's on the stock T-3 my SVO hit the dyno with 238/270. That ought to make the XR7 a fun daily driver highway cruiser.kyle Quote Selected

What if...... Reply #2 – February 22, 2006, 07:06:30 PM I was thinking the T-bird intercooler and hood for two reason's.1) Cost. I already have the intercooler and hood's are cheap.2) I want to keep the A/C functional. If I get that far and have the cash I will build another custom set up like I did for the SVO.kyle Quote Selected

What if...... Reply #4 – February 22, 2006, 07:24:04 PM hmm. SVO wheel's. I have a decent pair laying around that I could try on it. I'm not sure if the backspacing will work or not. I also have a set of Saleen/Ronal R9 5spoke 5 lug wheel's in black. kyle Quote Selected
