Anyone have a source for 87-88 Tbird Corner lights? Reply #4 – February 21, 2006, 11:53:25 PM The problem with 87/88 Tbird/Cougar doors is well-known and widespread. My '87's Left-Side door was more exposed to the elements and road salt, and as such rotted and split open along the bottom. Even a 1987 Cougar owned by "The Lady Across The Street" is in mint condition - other than that door. Luckily I was able to find a Left-Side door at Medford Auto Wreckers (Long Island NY) that WASN'T split (most were). You will need to look around and you will DEFINATELY need to get down on all fours and check along the bottom of any door you may want to take home. Quote Selected
