Honestally that rust isn't that bad. Should be pretty easy to fix. I've seen these cars with rust so bad that I could stick my finger through the quarter panel easily.

Like my car :) I didn't know that the left front fender had rusted once and was repaired until it started rusting on me a little over a year ago. When I was sanding to remove the rust, I noticed a small hole. Well I proceeded to poke at that hole and managed to stick my finger right through that part of the fender. But bondo came to the rescue and is all good now. :hick:

Rust is typical so I wouldn't be too worried about it. The only places I really worry about are the lower rear quarters and the lower front part on the side just behind the doors. Looks just like in your last pic of rust. I plan on getting new doors and fenders on mine before it hits the paint shop as they are rusted pretty badly. Since funds are extremely tight though, that won't be any time soon.

Actually for as clean as my car looks it has a wee little bit of rust. There is a bubbled spot about 1/4"x2" on the seam between the rocker and the quarter panel right behind the driver's door. It's not that noticible though. It hasen't gotten any bigger in the 4 years I've owned the car and I don't plan on getting it fixed untill I get the car painted in about a year or two. I'm actually getting the car painted because it does have some dents and scraches and I want the car to look perfect.
