What Pushrods With TFS?

Got my Twisted Wedges the other day. Anybody know what length pushrods to use? I'm using them on the SO block (flat tops) with the HO cam and 1.6 rockers.

I've been using M-6565-L312 hardened pushrods for a  289/302 flat tappet cam from Ford Racing for 6 years...

They are approx 1/2" longer than the 5.0 roller p/rods...

Appreciate the info. I knew there was some people using twisted wedges around here the could save me buying an adjustable pushrod. Although if they're only around 10 bucks maybe I should anyway, just in the name of science... heheh...

You can use stock length push rods.  6.272" length, will need hardened if your using guide plates.

Trick Flow specifically says you'll need longer than stock pushrods. Their recommended T/F P/R is within .1 of a stock 289/302, so I went the cheap route and saved $50... The guide plates and studs came with mine, but I opted for 7/16 studs instead of 3/8".

I'm not going to argue about it its not that important to me, Not my car.  But stock can he can use stock length rods if he changes cam (which he needs to do) he needs to measure the pushrods for verification.  Push rods arent that expensive.  Buy the adjustable measure and get the right one without a shadow of a doubt.

not sure on your motor but in my stang with a stock short block, TFS twisted wedge heads and my old e-303 cam i used the TFS hardened 6.75" pushrods. i also used the same ones in a buddies stang with same heads but a TFS stage 2 cam similar to my anderson cam

Thanx for all the info guys! T-Bird85, I'm seriously concidering buying your 2040. Gotta do a little more research and see if I can afford the 50 bucks this week or next. The price is right, I just need to make sure the cam will match my combo.
