I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

well in answer to all your questions lol I'm putting GT40P heads on it, cobra intake, MAF setup, replacing gaskets because the previous rebuilder forgot the rear intake gasket, and I'm putting in a single piece oil pan gasket. the last rebuild was 60k ago...everything has come apart easy. Also will install a better cam, replace pistons if they make contact with valves :flame: put some headers on, paint it all but the valve covers black...dunno what color I'll go with on them...rest of the car will get some bodywork, suspension work, and a 8.8 rear-end...I'm also planning in a year or so to put a S/C on the 5.0....time to play...lol

yeah...I kinda just took it off and tossed it...don't think it has enough surface area for the hungry 302...everything is going good so far...actually close to breaking even:D
