finally my t-bird is going to be started...

hopefully tommorw i will be going to get my t-bird and start working on it .  body work will be finished this winter and the car will be ready for paint by spring (not going to paint untill i get the HO in it )  still not sure on the paint its self im thinking all black with the trim on the outside were its chrome its going to be blue (someone eles car it the same and has a black grill - if someone could post that pic it would be great) but before the body work starts i got to fix the vacum leak (i think) paint the wheels and clean it up  ... will have pictures soon .

awesome...thanks for noticing my humble little car....it doesnt get alot of attention.

it will when it gets repainted this winter. i did all that myself just too mess around with it and see how a few little things would work as far as durability and looks. i think it looks a million times better than the chrome or the TC red. im not a big fan of chrome at all.

now you can just buy the strip in a rool. aerobird motorsports in the venders section has it. the paint worked great for me so thats what im going to use to finish it. the new strips they sell come in all kinds of colors and probably would be more durable. ive hit mine with a high pressure washer and it didnt budge at all.

same for the lower bumper. i rattlecaned that just to see how the grey would look under the black. looks nice, but when it goes into the paint shop im going to use something a little lighter.

the grille and lower bumper are going to be replaced by a turbo coupe lower cover and header panel ive been storing forever now.
