considering im 20, and with a 16 year old girl...

like its been stated, it depends on the people, my girlfriends family isnt happy with us dating, but they dont oppose it, because its what makes her happy, she hasnt been happier

before the relationship actually took off, i did meet with her parents, and discuss things a bit, which helped clear things up a bit, if anyone considers dating a younger girl like that, definatly try to talk with her parents

How's the air up there, Ted? :rolleyes: He asked for opinions, and he got them. But thanks for judging. I don't necesarilly agree with a 20yo dating a 16yo either, (esspecially now that I've got a daughter. puts a new spin on things), but not every Sr. has the mind of a 12yo, or freakish parents. Case by case, man. Every instance has its own shade of grey.

But Chuck, 14 years?

Well, at least she was twenty. At that point, I think all we have is jelousy.

honestly I am with ted. One of my freinds went to jail (he was only 18) for dating a 15 year old. And he was barely 18 too.

I gave my opinion and a little bit of reality.

My dad told me a long time ago "When the dick gets hard the brain goes soft".

I don't care about the age difference as long as the age is 18 or older. I'm three years older than my wife. I was 21 and she was 18. I'm sure her parents did not like the fact that I was drinking age and she was not. But we now have 22 years of marrage together as of the 10th of September.

Just want you guys to stay out of trouble. Another one of my opinions is not to have kids till you have been married 5 years or more.

Yeah, I pretty much got my wife pregnant on our wedding night. The first week, at the most.

But we had been living together for nearly five years at the time, so I think that's the same kind of situation.

Like I said, I'm sure come 16 years, I'll be sitting on the porch shining the old shotgun and watching the bushes.

What the? how many people do this????? it burns me that my best freind(16) is dating a 21 year old college guy. I didnt think there was that many guys doing it sheesh. I guess im old fashioned but 5 years is a bit much when thats equal to a'third of your life! ahhh im surrounded by em...
