I stole an emblem off of a cougar in my shop class. It was by accident too. I was leaning and it broke the spring so i pocketed it.

Don't know if this counts or not, but I'm contemplating buying 2 more Fox Cougars in a package deal, and I already have 2 in the driveway.  Number 1 is an '84 V6 LS that is a pretty nice car, but is rusty and has a coolant leak (and which has many parts for sale in the For Sale section, thanks Cougrrr302), number 2 is an '83 V6 LS with a busted rear axle and bent up core support, but which has almost no rust and has a near perfect interior.  Numbers 3 and 4, which I'm still considering, are: an '85 GS (I think) with 91k miles on the 3.8 which apparently has a history of jumping time, but aside from that looks very clean on the outside with no visible rust, and number 4; an '84 GS (again, I think) parts car which donated a few parts to the previous '85 and has a V8 with a spun main bearing.  Of course in the end I could only keep one, I'm afraid, but man, what a package I could put together from all of them.  I've also got a line on an '86 XR7 with no title but a good running 2.3T for $300.  Man, I gotta stop!

I took a ton of art classes in high school so mostly everything was about the cougar.
-For example we had to make a portfolio to hold our stuff so I put the cougar on the front.
-My senior year, I had a cabinet door that I had to cover to identify  as my cabinet. Again the cougar was on the cover.
-In one clay class I molded an approx. 1/70 scale cougar.
-For one of my projects my senior year, I painted the cougar on the back of a T-shirt.
-The cougar also showed up in some of my photos in my photo class.
That was just in high school and I think everyone knew for sure which car was mine.

In an art class in college I took a spare TC hood and drew an exploded diagram of the basic engine parts. Then drove the car down to school. Everyone had to come outside to critique it.
My teacher told me I might have an unhealthy relationship with the car. I'm sure the fact that I was wearing my Cat Jam shirt didn't help matters much.
Sometimes I wonder if he was right. Oh, I need a girlfriend :(

More of a Bird fan but had to settle with the Cougar because I couldn't find a decent TC for sale when I needed a car.

This is the first cougar I have gotten. I peveously have owned an 83, 86, 87, and 88 bird.

Find me an '83-86 Cougar to take the spot of either of my '88s, (LSC or Bird) and I'll get back to you on that. Wouldn't mind having a Cougar, just don't have any space left for one.
