3.8 to 5.8 questions

hey y'all, just had a coupla quick questions.
was wondering whether the engine harness from an '88 sport would work with a 5.8, and matching computer from a '91 truck, transmission is an AOD from 91 Stang GT, and TC axle (3.55 gear)

Was also wondering if there were any other details that i'd need to address, such as a bigger fuel pump, the engine will be stock for awhile.
I know I'll also need a Stang k-member, as I won't worry about trying to get the motor mount brackets.
I can get the harness from a sport in a local 'yard, as well as the stang k-member.
I'll also need the Windsor/Fox oil pan and headers too...
If there is anything else I might need that you guys know of, lemme know... :D

The trucks use a batch fire system that fires four injectors at once, so no you cannot use it as it would be firing only injectors 1 & 2(using the Bird inj harness). The Truck EEC could be used if you use the truck injector harness, but other changes would be necessary to the Bird harness.

For best results, you're gonna need a mass air computer, meter and a MA conversion harness(ebay and late Stang suppliers).

The stock 3.8 pump is only 60 lph, I'd go ahead and get at least a 190.

after I made my first post, I did some more research, and figured I'd probaly have to go with a mass-air setup..., I'm delayed some more...oh well, maybe I will go ahead and buils up the 351 then... ;)
anyway, thanks again...

For this your best bet would be a 94-95 setup as the mass air meters were larger (70mm as opposed to th 57?mm of a fox body)

Which intake setup are you gonna go with?

I was gonna go with the truck intake for awhile, but now I think I'm just going to put a 5.0 in it for now, while I gather more stuff for the 351...which is meanwhile going into my truck...
I dunno, I sure do change my mind a lot...
