Removing Oil Pan...

All the bolts came off easy but the pan itself won't budge.  I hammered away at it like a psycho to no avail, even a gentle tug from the engine hoist couldn't dislodge it.  It may as well be part of the block.  Anyone else run into this on a 302 engine?

double check that all bolts are out and hammer a steel putty knife between the block and pan in a few places
