HELP!! firing order and placement.

1990 Mercury Cougar LS V6 3.8 (non superchanger)

 i just change the intion pole and cap, rotor, plugs, wire. put them back on and enginellike they were but the wouldn't kick over?  :mad:

 could some show a pick on how the plugs go on the cap and the placement of the intion pole??

lookd on goolge. but nothing  :bs:

 and i cheap way of fixing this too

whoops sorry if you saw the first one that was for a 2.8 v-6. This is the right one.

spec's from mitchell repair....

passenger side front to back 1,2,3

driver side front to back  4,5,6

firing order is 1,4,2,5,3,6

and the number one plug wire on the distributor cap is the first one right of the front lock down tab..

oh and the firing order starts counter clockwise

THX Haystack that helpd alot. i markd were it come from and took pix of it. but it looked like the old way was out of time too(but it run, try to stall at lights tho).
