Dynomax Bulletts August 27, 2005, 02:27:46 PM I'll be redoing my exhaust over the winter, and I noticed dynomax bulletts are small enough to fit in places where others don't. Are they good? what do they sound like? Are they legal *could they pass state inspection*...how are they different than glasspacks? Quote Selected
Re: Dynomax Bulletts Reply #1 – August 27, 2005, 03:28:13 PM generally, glass packs have a louvered tube inside, they will somewhat restrict the airflow to help quiet it down, the bullets have a perforated tube, that just has holes in itthey dont quiet a car as much as a new glasspack, and theyre smaller, so theyre generally louder, theyll pull the rasp out of an exhaust Quote Selected
Re: Dynomax Bulletts Reply #2 – August 27, 2005, 03:51:39 PM I have a pair on the convertible....they are LOUD. Now when the 4-cat Mustang H-pipe was on the car, it was passable as far as noise and emissions. But since the off-road X-pipe was installed...whoa Nelly, it's going to get me a ticket one of these days. Quote Selected
Re: Dynomax Bulletts Reply #3 – August 28, 2005, 01:23:23 AM Are they deep or just loud. Is it like a glasspack and make alot of cackling. Ive been looking into Flowmaster super 40s when I rebuild my motor. Wanna know which one is deeper with minimal cackle. Quote Selected
