The Excursion will be history very soon. Ford's cutting 250+ jobs when it quits building them in September. We've been building the seats for them since production began, but it won't hurt us much initially. We only have 10 people that work that line and will float them into the other departments. We stopped hiring a few months ago and have offered overtime to keep from overstaffing and laying people off. Ford will up production on the other models for now, and I guess we'll see from there. Their first year, they had orders for something like 20,000+ Excursions. Last year, it was barely over 2,000. They're too big and with gas prices the way they are, well, do the math. Not much demand anymore.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
