Tranny help

my car just started to do this. but when i put it in gear my car has a really bad vibration when stoped, once you get going it goes away. any ideas of how to stop this. also i dont know if this changes anything but it started to do it only in reverse just a lil then it when to drive now its doing it almost all the time and getting worse and i may have drove it 15 miles between when it started and now.

im not sure what it is, but to me it sounds like a bad torque converted, staying locked when it shouldnt

someone else should be able to chime in

also sounds like a low idle. When my idle is slow it will make the car surge and jump. If I hold the brakes down it will vibrate and shake

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

my idle is fine its just my whole car vibrates in first gear when im just sitting at a red light and when i start going i can feel it in my pedel vibrating.

when you let go of the brake pedal, does the car feel like its trying to go, like, move rather fast at idle? give you a nice clunk when going into gear?

i dont think so. but one thing i find odd is that if im just slowly getting up to speed when i get about 35 it seems to get way less drag and starts to going faster without me pushing harder. ill have to see tomarrow but i dont think its my idle
