1983 2.3T 5 Speed PCM E3ZF-12A650-AIA

Hello, This is my first (newbie) Day on this site. Been a Member of LOD (same user) for years and appreciated the TBird, Cougar, Mark body style since becoming a FLM tech in 1986.
I own a 97 Mark VIII, a 68 Cougar and recently acquired a Barn Find 83 Turbo Coupe. I will update my profile when I can.

As the Title says, the TBird is running but didn't idle due to PCM not supplying enough ground. Found a PCM locally and that repaired the idle (IAC) but will only run unless the spout disconnected.

Welcome! Sounds like you came to the right place based on your interests. Sorry, can't help you out with the PCM but there are some good technical folks on here to help with troubleshooting.
