Camshaft Question

Hey guys got a question. my 88 5.0 non ho. has a lifter going out. im wondering if i can put in a non roller cam w/o alot of mods? reason for this is because i cant justify spending 500.00 for new roller cam and lifters when in a couple mnths im putting in my new motor im building.

Roller lifter cams rarely wear much at all unless something is messed up. Spend $20 at a pick n pull and get er done.

Hell, PM your address and I'll just send you one...I've got about 3 sets sitting here..I'll never use them all.

Hi; thanks for the offer, but im just gonna replace the whole set, if 1 is bad, usually means others arent far behind, motor has 260,000 according to odometer, cant wait to get my new motor finished..

I've got three sets in zip lock bags..

Like I said, I'll never use 'em all. pay shipping and a set is yours. I've also got a couple of HO cams if you need one, as well..
