I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Are these the same ones that were brought up a little while ago and were stated as junk?? I shure hope not, because if they arent...  :D Now that we are on the subject of springs (and I dont meen to hijack) I contacted these guys... http://www.coilsprings.com about a 1.5" drop... I am just waiting to hear back from them. But I am almost certain it will be completely outta my price range. I am just giving it a try so I dont kick myself later on down the road... I found them on a NATO search.... I'll letcha know how it turns out...

That it does. But when I work on mine I can lift it to higher than stock. :D

The fix for that is this...

Get about 10' of 1"x1"x.120" wall square steel tube.  Weld it along the rocker panels just inside the pinch weld.  You may have to relocate a parking brake cable bracket...but not a big deal.

Now in addition to a little bit of chassis stiffness, you can jack up the entire side of the car rfom any point along the rocker panel and put jackstands there as well and keep the underneath more open to work.....

That sounds like a lot of work.

If were lived in a totally flat country, lowering a car would be fine, but with pot holes, speed bumps, broken concrete and other road hazards...I don't know about that.
