Rear shoulder belt upgrade?

My kids are getting bigger and I would like to have some shoulder belts in the back of my '86. I did some searching around here and coolcats but I didn't find any info on what years came with rear shoulder belts or if they'd even fit. Has anyone thought of trying this or any ideas?

I did find that Dec. of '89 is when outboard rear seats required a shoulder belt. It appears that Ford did offer a retrofit kit for 87-88 Thunderbirds/Cougars but I'm still trying to track down if they were ever an option or not. It appears the Mark VII's have a kit for 84-89 as well. I'm sure that Ford has long discontinued them though. :(

Thanks

Mark 7 seats physically fit. Mustangs and newer birds attach differently.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
