I run those style wheels in 15X7 with 235/60-15's up front and 15X8's with 255/60-15's in the back

IIRC, my backspace is 5.5"
I got plenty of room.

In the summer I run 275 50 15 et streets in the rear of my turbo coupe. The rims are 15x8 with a 5.5 bs. Everything fits nice and I can keep the quad shocks on.  Kinda hard to see in this pic.

Stock 10 holes I have 275/60's. they rub if I go over a curb at an angle too fast, but not otherwise.id go a hair smaller next time. I'm digging the 255/60 on v8deamons cat.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Lol I had those same rims also

5.5 is ideal but I ran a 4.5 it gave the rim a extra 1" lip and looked good

Idk how a 275 would look or fit with a 4.5 though

275/60's out back and stock sized up front. I did have to ziptie the emergency brake cables. they barely rubbed.

Next set of tires I buy I'm gonna try a 275-50. I think they would fit better and maybe help the speedo some.

I ran a 295/60/15 Dunlop tire on the back years ago when I drove the bird on the street with a 6.5 bs. It fit good, I did have to remove the quad shocks but I had aftermarket rear control arms on the car. That sure did look mean standing behind the car......

If I can get them shipped, I'm going to find a 275/55-15 with a good speed rating.  Not really a stateside tire though.  It's the size tire for a DeTomaso Pantera.  Pirelli makes them, however I'm not 100% they are still in production.  THey would keep my speedometer accurate as it is now without changing anything else.
