I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

its a bit rough. missing half the exhaust, busted windshield, door handles are all messed up, and there is a bit of surface rust on the body.

unfortunately it was love at first sight. put $100 down, junked the wagon for driveway space  gonna give them the rest this weekend. has power windows and mirrors, nothing else. has a center console, missing armrest. 302/aod. seemed to run fine. its a driver. breaks felt funny.

should be in my driveway by Friday.

It has the 83-84 grille, wonder what the story behind that is. Sounds like it's optioned just like mine. I see it has rear defroster.

I noticed the grill as well. forgot to ask about it.

this car is pretty basic. no lights package, no power locks, no intermittent wipers. wish it would have at least been hand crank windows, but overall, it has what I want, and doesn't what I don't. gonna throw parts at it over the winter and keep driving mine as is probably.

Cruise control? Which clock does it have? Mine doesn't even have cruise, and has the buttstuffog clock. I've never cared for the rims on that 86 you just got, at some point, someone put the 14" 8 hole 83-84 TC aluminum rims on mine, I'm not complaining thought, probably my favorite rim that came on these cars, they look SHARP!! I really wish mine was an 86 for 3 reasons: SEFI, CHMSL and the newer radio plugs).

yeah, I got a set of 10 holes I might throw on.

I don't remember what it did and didn't have exactly. I never did take a pic of the interior. I have a trip computer that will probably go in, so I don't care which clock it has. I'm really not that picky overall.

Will a tripminder work in a car that has the buttstuffog clock?

why wouldn't it? takes a couple of power wires, then splices one or two signal wires from the computer.
