Dream Cruise

Ahh.. today was the "Dream Cruise" here where I live. (Downriver area  in MI). The "Dream Cruise" is when people come out with all there older, nice cars and drive it down the street right at my corner :-D.

Of course, plenty O'  Mustangs, Lotsa Vettes, Tons of Camaros. But i did manage to catch some Fox's in there, made me really happy, glad to see people around me that see the potential in our cars.

Mines definately not ready for me to take out there. Nothing special, its a stock rusted up 87' LS cat. But lets see what next year holds :-D.

I did see an LSC, really good condition from the looks of it, seemed completly stock.

Another fox was a tbird. Ugly brown color, modded headlights with some red in them, it looked nice but idk how to explain. Perfect body. Couldnt tell ya what was under the hood, thats what sucks about a cruise lol.

Oh yea and i did see a TC, rusted to death, black and red, still proud to be a fox tho.

Glad to see foxes out there, not just the Cobras, and Vettes (AKA pen 15 enlargements) SOO many people with 2000-05 mustangs, I dont get it, i see them eveyday, nothing special about them, and they only have them to feel cool (pen 15y rich guys with the snobby princess daughters that go to me school :yuck:)

The '05 Mustang is already so common, I saw two of them at the same stoplight yesterday. Both red.. one convertible, one not. One was in the northbound lanes, (I was headed south) one was pulling out of the strip-mall that Advanced/Discount is in.

Not a day goes by that I don't see at least 2-3 of them when I go out.. and I don't drive much. Maybe 10-12 miles a day, most of the time?

I agree...Im in Texas and it's like every other car is a new mustang.
Makes me extemely happy every day to drive around in my Tbird. To date I've only seen like 2 other Sport models in the area i live in.

That depends on where you live.  Up by me they ARE common, but on the 2 out of state road trips I've taken every time I would stop for gas people would swarm around it like it was a  unicorn or something.  Everybody and their brother has a black one by me.  I'm glad I went with a different color.  The longer it stays in the garage the more others will drive theirs into the ground.  The average person gets bored of a car and decides after a certain point that it aint worth it anymore when stuff goes wrong.  I love it when I see one parked in the street.  I know it'll be a potential parts car for me one day! ;)
