mass air fuel pump help

i have put the mass air conversion on my 87 cougar HO and i had read on one of the post that you do not have to move the fuel pump on the new mass air computer.  please help me i need my CAT to run!

Not so, every EEC-IV wheather MAF or SD uses pin 22 to trigger the fuel pump relay. The MAF EECs do use a feed back circuit(pin 19) to tell the EEC that the F/P is receiving voltage. What happens if you don't connect it??? NUTHIN', the EEC sets code 89 in memory, and life goes on(in other words it will run just fine).


is your car not running, or have you even tried running it yet?

what pin do i need to move into pin 22
