1987-88 TurboCoupe Center Console Armrest

I am in need of the Armrest from the center console, preferably black or blue.
In good condition with no cracks in back plate and minor wear on surface,

aww come on!  ive been lookigng for ages on ebay for one of those armrests...have i been typing the wrong keywords or something?

There's an NOS console lid for about $145.00 or so.

Nuts! The only one I ever see on Ebay looks like .
Just checked, didnt even see that one, and its been on there for months.
What all year models will work for that lid?

Also, FYI, do not buy this:

It fits like , and will not go over the factory leather like it says.  Mine looks ok now, but it took a lot of effort to make it look ok.

I accidentally bought that leather thing a while ago.. I guess I'll keep it for when my new one starts to go.. lol

it was pretty cheap yeah but the vynil was all cracked...unless theres a way to take it to some interiors shop and get it redone

Just got in the mail the one I bought off eBay for $25+shipping, and I have to say, you found my the most mint armrest ever, Vinnietbird.. This thing looks like it sat on a ford dealer parts shelf in its bag for 23 years..

Mine actually looks pretty decent for new leather on an old warped console lid lol.  I had to remove the factory vinyl, and sew the new piece up across the inside to get it to stay in place correctly.  Its too thick with the factory vinyl underneath it, and the inner plastic wouldnt fit right.  It also doesnt fit correctly around the latch area without sewing it up to keep it in place.  Took a few hours of fitting and sewing to make it stay just right.  Just alot more of a pain in the butt then what the ad lets on.
