84 ECM pinout question November 12, 2014, 01:40:15 PM What is the light blue and purple spotted wire that goes to Pin 34 on an '84 Thunderbird Elan with a 302?I have a Chiltons book but it has very poor wiring diagrams. I am trying to pick through things for my carb conversion and this wire runs over to the drivers' side frame rail into the connector that has the dark green and yellow wire from the negative side of the coil? Also, any help on where the yellow and gray wire that connects to a fuseable link coming off the starter solenoid? Thanks,Drew Quote Selected

Don't see a yellow/gray wire. There is a yellow/white dot wire to the A terminal of the voltage regulator. There is a link to the 84 EVTM in jcassidy's profile. Thats no biggy, I have it going into my "ready to run aftermarket distributor.Without the tps and MAP, I doubt the trip minder output is very useful. The other wire in question is tan with a yellow stripe... The write-up on EVTM page 89 says the tripminder gets the fuel flow info from the ECM. But for cars sold in Canada (carb) had a fuel flow sensor in the fuel line.QuoteThe other wire in question is tan with a yellow stripe... Where do you see this wire? Quote Selected
