1994 Cougar XR7 needs some help

:bowdown: First Post Mods & First time Mercury owner.

Just bought a 1994 Cougar XR7 with 47,000 miles for $1300.
Used the search function did not come up with anything.
Body is straight but I am looking for the following;

1. What other year cougars or card are compatible?

2. Headlight are nasty.  Where can i find some more modern  headlight cover replacements?

3. Looking for a Ground Effect & spoiler or wing?

4.  Do they make replacement leather seat cover or do i have to go to the Mercury dealer?

Any help will be appreciated.

That's cause we're focused on the Fox bodies (83-88).
But I'm sure someone here will have at least a bit of info.

Welcome!

1. Thunderbird was the same car, for the most part. The Mark VIII (8) shared some parts as well.

2. Original-style replacement headlights are easily available on eBay. Not sure of the quality though. Originals may still be available at the dealership. If you're looking for a projector-style or something different, I've never seen those.

3. Ground effects can still be purchased. Try http://www.spoilers.com.

4. For leather that old you'll have to hit an upholstery shop. They may still be able to get OE leather but it will be expensive. There are many leather substitutes with a wider range of styles and colors that will probably be your best and most economical solution.
