rotator cuff surgery...?

I've read nearly everything I can find online, read a lot of facts and stuff from doctor's office pamphlets and such...now I'm looking for real life experiences from those who've had them.

Anything ya got, I'll read. I'm going in next week for a preliminary check and see just how bad mine is. I've been in agony for the last few months, and now it's to the point I can barely lift my 18 month old daughter with both arms.

I've been on vicodin and percocet off and on as I can get 'em...that takes most of the edge off, but eating pills like M&M's is only a band-aid.

So anybody that's had their shoulder cut on...tell me the results, how the therapy went, the healing process, and the recovery time...just trying to get a worst case if my work decides to throw me off the train.

And for those that know how bad this shiznit hurts...I've dealt with my left shoulder hurting since 1999. :eek:
(think it may be why I've always had a certain love affair with hydrocodone..)

Ive heard the therapy after surgery is the worst part of it.
