Oops!! (one more cat tractor bites the dust)

Would not have wanted to be the operator of that tractor.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

it is a continuos miner. That wheel spins and the platform swings back and forth. It is for use in a strip mine.

One of the buckets on that machine will fill a medium sized off road dump truck.

It's Gumby's fault.

No, thank got. I get to sit behind a computer all day. I get these type of E-mails all the time, different companys sent pics like these around to show what could be work on it the next model. If you notice the cab on the dozer is crushed. This is one of the things we work on, is making the tractor safer for idiots like this guy.

The reason I call him an idiot is because that piece of minig equpment doesn't move that fast that he couldn't have gotten out of the way.

It's kinda like these pics from a previous post

Holy  on the post of the end dump truck that went off the high wall.  I used to work in a coal mine and actually drove a truck like that (i think mine was a 789 or something its been awhile).  Those things are built like tanks and I felt pretty safe driving it...but wow I don't think you could make it withstand any fall like that.  I can't imagine if it would have had a load on it.

I still say it looks like the chinese made it.  Honestly who would have to compensate that much?
