hello, new guy here with an 88 XR7

I just bought an 88 XR7, it has 58,000 mile on it and was just checking out info on it when I found your site.  Lots of good info and I learned alot about my new work car.  Ive always been a 5.0 Mustang guy and I have xtra parts that will make its way to the XR7 just for fun.  My stable includes: 1988 Cougar XR7, 1998 Mustang sport (3.8 wife car), 2004 F150 Lightning, 1965 FFR cobra replica under construction.  Talk to you all later.  Dan

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
