Flywheel

I have my new dust shield thanks to vinnietbird. I am ready to install my clutch when I noticed the flywheel says AOD on it. I'm guessing there's a specific flywheel for the T5 and I need to replace my flywheel with one that has a friction surface for the clutch. Am I correct and does anybody have any recommendations? I don't have anything special on the car by usually tend to upgrade when the cost isn't much more. Thanks for the support!

Ummmm yeah...if going from AOD to T5, you'll need the flywheel from the donor car too.

If you've got a 5.0...any flywheel for a Stang 5.0 will work..not sure what years exactly can be pulled from...but I can tell you '87 and up is good.
