January 08, 2011, 12:59:44 AM Ok since search is broken I've been searching through pages of this forum and found nothing about this specific topic...I'm getting an AOd from a 90 3.8 bird to replace the column shift burnt out AOd in my 88. I know the tranny will mate up just fine, its the exact same thing. But I was wondering, if anyone knows if I can use the shifter and cables/bracket from that car and it will fit in my fox? I can't find any AOd shifters around here so I'd like to be able to use that one if its easy enough. Quote Selected

I don't have to wait on it to get here, and 3. I can see how it all comes apart and goes back together. I think it will work, I don't really see why the shifter itself would be any different, but the problem is I've never actually seen a fox floor shift so I don't know how to check for similarities lol.
